Weekend in Flagstaff

A couple of weeks ago we went up to Sedona, and went for a couple of hikes.  One was south of Sedona, and we hiked up one of the red rocks.  The second was north of Sedona in the Oak Creek Caynon and it actually was along the floor of the caynon crossing a river a few times and walking with fallen leaves...It was so pretty!! And it got cold!!

We drove up to Flagstaff that night, and went out to eat at the brewery.   We were so excited that it was only in the high 30s when we got up there!!  When we got up in the morning there was frost on the car and it was 19 degrees!!!  We drove north to the mountains after breakfast and went up to the ski area.  Its really only a couple of hours from us, so it will be easy to get to this winter when we want to ski!!

We drove west to Williams, a tiny northern Arizona town, sort of like the wild wild west...and then south through some unnamed roads (praying the car wouldn't break down) to Prescott.  We shopped around a little bit there and then came home on Sunday night.

How cute is he? Hiking in south Sedona, in the red rocks.

Beautiful!!!  Sedona, vew from were we were hiking.
