We woke up early this a.m. to get to the Prague castle before the tour busses downloaded all of the tours... We got there just in time. I convinced Jeff to get the audioguide that walks you through the castle and grounds with a device like a phone telling you the history. Within minutes we were bored out of our minds...oops... :) We had lunch in the Castle Quarter district of Prague, overlooking the city...it was beautiful!! We had a traditional lunch with soup, a meal, and dessert (I think lunch is their biggest meal here). We had lots of garlic and saurkraut so far...please pray for us in the next few days in our small hotel rooms... haha. We toured around a little more and headed back to our hotel for a nap...we woke up a few hours later...I guess we were tired! We got ready and went out to dinner and had a traditional dinner..I had fried cheese - its everywhere here, and was exactly that - cheese that was fried. Jeff had goulash served in a bread bowl, which was really beef stew in a rye bread bowl, and that was really good. We went to a traditional Czech beer pub tonight, and we are pretty much spent. Its about midnight here and we are off to bed! We have another full day here tomorrow, and are planning on doing a walking tour. This city is huge! We will head to Vienna, Austria on early Friday morning.
Concert in the National Museum at Prague. We sat on the steps. Concerts and music are popular in Prague. Concerts are held all over the city all nights.

Jeff on the paddle boat! Relaxing. You can see the Charles bridge in the background.
Pizza place for dinner...so cute! The group next to us was 2 American guys who had met 2 Irish girls at a tour and they were out to dinner together. A guy came around selling roses and the guys bought them for the girls after offering one to Jeff for me - and he told him no....haha. Jeff told the guys they made him look bad. We had a good laugh!
