August Highlights!

Oh my.

August. is. gone.

What we have been up to:

Grant turned ONE!

Eating yogurt in my big boy chair on my birthday.  I started off with a spoon. Very daintly.  Then went in full force and brought the bowl to my face.  Just like dad.

Took our last weekly picture.  So sad.  I still have plans to photoshop the week onto the onesie.   Maybe in the next 10 years I'll do that.

We took a few trips just north of here to get out of the heat.  We had cabin fever!

Grant discovered he loves to slide and play at the playground.  He prefers to do everything on his own. Period.  He will push himself down the slide and it ends in the most adorable squeal.

Hiking in Sedona.  Our favorite hike ever.

Children's Museum for the first time for Grant's birthday! So fun.  

They have a dedicated toddlers room for climbing and its perfect for him.

We took a very long hike and attempted to get to the bottom of a canyon but it was too long and hot.  We would have ran out of water so we turned around.  We stopped for a snack along the way. 

and someone took a nap on the way out.

And took a break for lunch before we left the park.

We also stopped at a goat farm and had fresh goat cheese and goats milk yogurt and got to meet all of the goats.  

We've also had lots of visitors these past couple of months and we'll post that separately.
