Grant Thomas

has finally arrived!  He didn't want to come out!  After a long labor and finally a c-section, he made his grand entrance on August 6 at 6:32 am.  The doctor announced that we had a fiesty toddler on our hands...he was 8 pounds 6 ounces and 21 inches long!  He has a head full of dark hair, and is pretty furry all over.  He is the spitting image of his daddy, pretty much from head to toe.  We are in love.

We just can't stop staring at him long enough to do anything.  We had a little rocky beginning, he lost some weight when he came home, but is now about an ounce from his birthweight.   We had his checkup today and he's already grown an inch (now 22 inches long!) and is 8 pounds 5 ounces.  He is 95% for height and 50% for weight.  The doctor is wondering where he got all of his height.  His eyes are now turning brown, and his hair is lightening up a bit.
