We took a trip to the UP to see Jeff's family in August. We had so much fun, totally relaxing, enjoying the weather there! We relaxed (I read 3 books), went to the beach, picked blackberries, drank homemade raspberry wine (yum!). We took a quick trip to see Scott and Jill, and took a trip to visit Elizabeth in Houghton, and drove up the Keewenaw peninsula. Jack loved playing in the grass, and playing fetch and bury with the apples off of the trees. I honed my wife-skills and made 3 pies, which took me longer to make than it took the boys to eat them. I actually impressed Jeff's aunt and uncle with Pillsbury pie crust dough! Impressive advertisement for the Pillsbury company.
