Grant is 4 months old!

I figured I better post about his 4 month appointment before he turns 5 months old!

He was 13 pounds, 9 ounces which puts him in the 25th percentile!  He's a peanut.  He's 25 inches long, which puts him at the 50th percentile.  His head circumference is also about 55th percentile.  Good porportions, so far.  But skinny!  He got the green light to start cereal, so we did..but pretty much on and off.  The cereal really fills him up and so the days that he eats that, he has less milk and doesn't sleep very good at night.

He got 4 shots again...poor baby.  He seems to do fairly well with them, as long as we keep him on the Tylenol for about 24 hours.

It seems that at 4 1/2 months he really changed.  He is now mobile.  He flips right over to his tummy and then will somehow get to where ever he wants to go.  If he can't quite make it, he'll make a lot of noise, eventually getting you to move him to where he would like to be.  He moved 8 feet across the living room floor right before Christmas...rolling and scooting.  He has absolutely NO interest in sitting at all. Either wants to be on his belly, or standing.   He's getting louder and louder.  And, he loves to be in his jumper.  LOVES it.  We start feeling guilty and end up taking him out!

He continues to be such a happy baby.  He loves to laugh, and smiles all the time!  He's doing much better at riding in the car and doesn't seem to hate it as much as he did.  He will  now fall asleep in the car thank goodness...

He traveled back to Michigan again, for those of you we didn't see...I am sorry.  It was a very quick visit... his grandparents were missing him!
