Grant turned 2 months old last Thursday! Wow. We were in Michigan, so his 2 month doctors appointment wasn't until yesterday. He weighed in at a whopping 11 pounds, 11 ounces, at 45%. He did grow another inch and was 24 inches long exactly, at 85%! His head circumference is at 75%. He's pretty long and lean. I was worried (of course) that he hadn't gained enough weight, but the doctor is very happy with it!
This little guy is such a joy! He is so smiley, loves to "talk" to you. I swear he's laughed a couple of times, but no big belly laugh yet. Grant is now holding his head up all the time. He's doing good with tummy time, so good that he rolled over from tummy to back twice this weekend! He is all boy, and if he's awake, he's moving. He loves his owl play gym, and loves to bat at all of the animals. He still doesn't like his car seat, but that seems to be getting better. His sleeping patterns are still erratic. He will sleep anywhere from 6 to 9 hours at night, and keeps himself on a every 3 hour schedule during the day. He eats, plays, and then catnaps. And we start it all over again every 3 hours.
This month, he's traveled to Michigan on an airplane, and drove to San Diego. He's a great little traveler! He and Jack were very well behaved on the flights. Grant did very well on the trip overall, considering he was passed from person to person and his schedule was completely off.
